Summer Incentive to Riga

ABOUT THE SUCCESSFULLY IMPLEMENTED EVENT

  • Client: Construction materials production company
  • Participant number: 35
  • Date: June, 2025
  • Country: Latvia, Riga
  • Description:

A four-night escape to Riga turned into a perfectly curated blend of elegance, adrenaline, and unforgettable shared moments – the kind of incentive trip that becomes a story to tell.

The group settled into the stylish 5-star Grand Poet Hotel, where a sparkling welcome drink set the tone for the days ahead. Riga revealed itself slowly, first through a guided city tour that blended cobbled charm with art nouveau flair, followed by a tasting of the city’s most iconic drink – Riga Black Balsam – where centuries-old traditions met bold modern flavors. A leisurely river cruise through the Daugava and canals offered a new perspective on the city, calm and scenic.

But the adventure stretched beyond Riga. One day brought the group to Sigulda, Latvia’s “Switzerland,” where adrenaline took center stage – flying down the bobsleigh track at speeds up to 85 km/h was a thrill not easily forgotten. The day continued underground, with a rare look into the Secret Soviet Bunker, followed by a lighter note: local wine tasting in Ligatne, surrounded by lush forest landscapes.

The next day led to the opulent Rundale Palace, where the group timed their visit with the annual Garden Festival – a feast for the senses with blooming baroque gardens, live performances, and regal atmosphere.

The journey ended on a high note with a final dinner at one of Riga’s top restaurants, recognized by the Michelin Guide. Fine cuisine, celebratory toasts, and shared reflections brought the experience full circle – a well-deserved reward, and a memory crafted to last.
